Radio Net software was developed to verify the performance of airborne DF and intercept equipment. The application can key up to eight radios at specified intervals, with multiple stations simulating an enemy radio network. System time is set using GPS. Radio on/off times are recorded as comma separated text for analysis and verification by a wide variety of spreadsheet and database applications. Radio net uses the PC standard parallel (for radio PTT signal), serial (for GPS), and audio output connectors instead of expensive GPIB based add-in cards like competitive solutions.
